  • It’s back! What You Need To Know About Aberdeen Restaurant Week

This is an incredibly exciting post to announce that Aberdeen Restaurant Week is back from the 4th – 10th of February. This time, I’m delighted to be an ambassador for the week, alongside some brilliant local bloggers and Aberdeen Inspired.

    What is Aberdeen Restaurant Week?

Aberdeen Restaurant Week is a way for locals to try out Aberdeen based restaurants and cafes at a discounted price for the commencing week.

Eating local is brilliant for the city and its businesses, and we certainly have a wide variety of delicious eateries to choose from, including traditional Scottish, Italian, Thai and French restaurants. There really is a restaurant for everyone!

Take this opportunity to try somewhere new and experience what Aberdeen has to offer. Who knows, you might stumble across your new favourite dining place.

    How much does it cost?

Each restaurant will have dedicated Aberdeen Restaurant Week set menus that will follow the following price structures:

    Lunch: 2 courses for £10

    Dinner: 3 courses for £20

    Amazing, right?!

Where I’m Visiting this Aberdeen Restaurant Week

This time round, I’m thrilled to be getting the chance to visit and review Ferryhill House Hotel’s dinner menu. I’ve never been before but I’ve heard great things so I cannot wait! Stay tuned to find out how the visit goes. My review will be up prior to the 4th to allow you to choose if it’s the restaurant for you.

    Where I went last time

I went to some lovely restaurants in last year’s foodie week, including The Braided Fig and Atlantis. Find out what I thought!

    How to get involved

If you visit Aberdeen Restaurant Week, you can find a list of all restaurants that are taking part in February’s Aberdeen Restaurant Week, including favourites such as Cafe Andaluz, Da Vinci and Howies.

You can book these restaurants in the tradition al ways – phone call, online etc – but be sure to quote “Aberdeen Restaurant Week” so they are aware what menu you are after.

    Find the Restaurant for You

As I mentioned earlier, other amazing Aberdeen bloggers are also participating in Aberdeen Restaurant Week. They will also be reviewing some restaurants prior to the 4th, so be sure to check out their blogs, as well as their reviews from last Aberdeen Restaurant Week here.
