Since I’m off to London tomorrow (I’m actually in London now, my post decided not to publish), I wanted to make this week’s post a quick one so I thought I’d haul my latest drugstore purchases.
First off, after hearing some great things about this L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara, I decided to pick it up in three colours. I’ve used the black mascara daily for the last week or so and I’m really enjoying it. I find it makes me lashes super long and full of volume. This mascara can go a little clumpy, so if you aren’t keen on that look, this one may not be for you. I’ve also been enjoying using the coloured mascaras on the lower lashes to add a pop of colour.
I was after a budget contour palette as I want my Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit to last as long as physically possible, so I headed to Superdrug to pick one up from Makeup Revolution. It’s not as pigmented as my ABH palette, but it is buildable and perfect for every day.
I think I have every colour of highlighter that is available at the moment, expect a standard pink, so I saw this one for £3 from Makeup Revolution and couldn’t really say no.
Due to spending a certain amount on Revolution products (I think it was when you spent over £11), you were able to choose a limited edition palette for free. I opted for the cheek palette but I intend to use it as eyeshadows as I think the colours would be gorgeous on the eyes.
It wouldn’t be a drugstore haul unless I purchased Collection Long Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair (not photographed), but this time I noticed Collection had extended their line to colour correctors which intrigued me greatly. I decided to try out the lemon coloured concealer which is meant to balance out purple tones. Here’s hoping it works wonders like its trusty sibling!
Last, but certainly not least, I headed to my favourite counter in Boots and bought some NYX Face and Body Glitters and Glitter Primer. I’ve been wanting to add some extra sparkle in my looks for a while so I cannot wait to finally be able to use these for a full glam makeup look.
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
