• If you had told me I’d be wearing animal print even a couple of …

Part two of my Colourpop haul is on the ultra matte/satin liquid lipsticks. If you want to see the first part on their eyeshadows, check it out here.

Colourpop has become my favourite brand for liquid lipsticks. I find they are the most long lasting of any brand I’ve tried and I have quite the collection. They are incredibly affordable at  $6 each, bearing in mind that these are coming from the US and you will be charged a customs charge when they arrive in the UK but I still think they are worth this extra cost.

Ultra Satin Lipstick in Femme – described as a muted dirty lilac. The colour looks quite pink here but it actually dries on the lips as a deep purple shade with a greyish tint which is perfect teemed with a purple smokey eye. This is a definite favourite of my chosen shades and one I find works very well for a night out.

Ultra Satin Lipstick in November – described as a mid-tone warm peachy pink. This is one from Colourpop’s collaboration with KathleenLights and is as it is described making it very wearable for every day. I love to wear this one to work.

Ultra Matte Lipstick in Lumiere 2  described as a dusty mauve pink. Another from the collaboration with KathleenLights is this gorgeous mauve shade which is my ideal lipstick colour. It’s very autumn/winter appropriate and I think would suit many skin tones. If you get one lipstick, make it this one.

Ultra Matte Lipstick in Tulle – described as a dusty mauve burgundy. I love a bold lip on a night out but nothing annoys me more than when the colour starts to wear off and you are left with only a ring of colour around the outside of your lips. If like me this is something you want to avoid then I recommend this shade. I never go on a night out without this lipstick now.

And finally, Ultra Matte Lipstick in Dr. M – described as a deep darkened green. I saw this on the website and knew immediately I wanted to try it because green lipstick is definitely not a colour I’ve used before. I made my order around about Halloween time so knew it would come in handy. Although in the end I never wore it on Halloween but I will find a use for this crazy shade.

Shades from left to right – Femme, November, Lumiere 2, Tulle and Dr. M.

If you’re on the fence about purchasing Colourpop liquid lipsticks, I’d say just to go for it! I don’t regret my decision at all and will be making another order the next time they have free international shipping.

What is your favourite Colourpop shade?

    Thanks for reading,

I was about £23 in customs but I did buy quite a lot! A few other girls I know got charged about £18/19. X

I’d probably place a big order at once rather than little ones spread out! Thank you x

The colours are really beautiful, I’m yet to try out colourpop lipsticks though and they’re so affordable.
