Birchbox June 2016

Here is a look into my June Birchbox, ‘Paradise Found’. This box is summer themed which is perfect as I can take the products with me on holiday this month. Let’s start with the box because just look how cute it is. Baby blue with palm trees, adorable and fitting of the theme. Now what is inside? Make-up Haul

My make-up collection is starting to increase rapidly and I’m running out of places to store it all, but of course, I couldn’t say no to a shopping trip to purchase some more. Here is what I bought: Make Up Revolution Iconic Lights and Contour Palette, £8. This palette comes with 8 contour/highlight shades to create those chiselled faces we are all after. It reminds me a lot of my Anastasia Beverly Hills Original Contour Kit which retails at £39 so if you…

Magazine Make-up

I only tend to buy magazines when they are for reading on the airplane or by the pool on holiday. So with Thailand nearing, I made a couple purchases which I am very excited about. I bought three magazines in total; my choices being made by the make-up products that were included. InStyle – retails at £3.99 but this issue was reduced to £2.50. This magazine came with a full sized Eyeko Fat Liquid Eyeliner in black. On BeautyBay, this costs £12. I’ve been…

For those of you unsure about Birchbox, it is a UK monthly subscription box service that costs £12.95 a month. Each month you receive 5 product samples plus occasional full price products from a huge range of beauty based brands. May’s box, ‘For The Dreamers…’, was my first Birchbox and I was very excited when it arrived. When I signed up, I had the extra luxury of adding a Cynthia Rowley Beauty black eyeliner, worth £11, to the order for free.…

June Wishlist

I am off to Thailand on Sunday and I am in saving mode for becoming a student once again so my spending will not be as extravagant this month. Pillow Talk – a soft lilac shade with a silver, shimmery finish. I already have quite a…

Boots Haul

I’m soon to be a skint student so I am in saving mode. This is not great for my spending addiction though, so I made the conscious decision to spend some of my Boots points. Here is what I purchased: Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer £7.99. I’ve heard great things about this under eye concealer and I’m yet to find a concealer that works for my stubborn dark circles, so here is hoping this will work a treat! Maybelline Colour Tattoo £4.99. Sticking…

May Favourites

How can it be the end of May already? 2016 is passing too quickly. Saying that though, there is nothing I enjoy more than reading what everyone’s favourites are for the month. I don’t have many favourites this month as I haven’t mixed up my routine too much but I do have a few beauty and hair products I have been loving, with some random products thrown in too. MAKE UP Makeup Revolution Affirmation Eyeshadow Palette £8. This little gem is…
