CHAOPHRAYA EDINBURGH REVIEW

Not long ago, I took a trip down to Edinburgh to visit my good friend, Willum, for the weekend. As soon as I arrived, we headed to Chaophraya which is an incredibly tasty, Thai restaurant on the top floor overlooking the city. They have a good view of the castle but you will need to book well in advance for a window seat with a view. Thai food is one of my favourite types of cuisine and stepping through the door filled…

COLOURPOP LIQUID LIPSTICK HAUL

Part two of my Colourpop haul is on the ultra matte/satin liquid lipsticks. If you want to see the first part on their eyeshadows, check it out here. Colourpop has become my favourite brand for liquid lipsticks. I find they are the most long lasting of any brand I’ve tried and I have quite the collection. They are incredibly affordable at  $6 each, bearing in mind that these are coming from the US and you will be charged a customs…

CHRISTMAS AT THE BODY SHOP

Earlier this month I got the opportunity to go to The Body Shop Blogger Event in Aberdeen’s store to learn a little more about their Christmas range with a group of other bloggers from Aberdeen. This was my first blogger event so I was excited to finally have the chance to see what one entails, albeit a little nervous too. For moral support, my friends Holly, Jess (who also had never been to an event before) and I all went along together.

COLOURPOP EYESHADOW HAUL

This is a very exciting one for me. Not long ago, Colourpop had an offer for free international shipping on orders over $50 which I just couldn’t say no to. I’ve been longing after Colourpop products ever since I saw Kathleen Lights speaking about the brand in her videos. I made the most of the offer, as standard shipping is normally pretty pricey due to the company being based in the US, and purchased quite a lot so I will…

AUTUMN TAG

Just like so many of you, my favourite time of the year is Autumn so I thought I would do this tag to let you know why I love this season so much and allow you to get to know me a little better. What signifies the start of autumn for you? For me, the start of Autumn is when you start seeing all the leaves falling from the trees, shops start bringing out cosy knits and coffee shops bring out…

REVIEW | MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE

When I heard Anastasia Beverly Hills was coming out with the Modern Renaissance palette, I initially wasn’t that excited. To me, it seemed like a range of colours I wouldn’t get the use out of and for the price, I really didn’t think I could justify the purchase. That was until I started seeing bloggers and vloggers everywhere trying out the eyeshadows and the gorgeous eye looks they were creating. The next thing I knew, this was in my shopping…

PRINCESS FOR THE DAY | A Day at …

The other week, before my friend Willum jet set off to London and Edinburgh for his new job, the two of us decided it would be nice to spend a day together at Drum Castle. Drum Castle is situated in Drumoak, Aberdeenshire which is about 10 miles out of Aberdeen city. For over 650 years, this castle was occupied by the Irvine family after it was granted to them by King Robert the Bruce.
