ABERDEEN CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

From 25th November, Aberdeen saw the return of our Christmas Village, so of course, to get into the Christmas spirit myself and Blair went along to see what this year had to offer. We started off at Jäger Haus, a wooden crafted hut, situated outside Union Square shopping centre.  Here you can treat yourself to a hot apple cider or German beer while sitting in either a heated seating area or in one of their wooden huts cuddled up in a blanket.…

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS

Around this time of year, we all begin to start thinking about what we are going to do differently in the year ahead. For 2017, I have thought of a few things I am aiming to do to make the year a good one and I’ve decided to share them with you. GET BACK INTO MY FITNESS By this, I mean both completing in regular exercise again as I have recently fallen off the bandwagon and also eating healthier. This…

CHRISTMAS TAG

I’ve seen Christmas tag posts all over social media at the moment so I thought I would join in. 1. WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS MOVIE? My favourite would have to be either The Santa Clause or Elf, they are two films that really help me get into the Christmas spirit and will watch every year! Saying that, I haven’t watched either yet – must get on that. 2. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS COLOURS? Up until this year, I’ve always…

CHAOPHRAYA EDINBURGH REVIEW

Not long ago, I took a trip down to Edinburgh to visit my good friend, Willum, for the weekend. As soon as I arrived, we headed to Chaophraya which is an incredibly tasty, Thai restaurant on the top floor overlooking the city. They have a good view of the castle but you will need to book well in advance for a window seat with a view. Thai food is one of my favourite types of cuisine and stepping through the door filled…

CHRISTMAS AT THE BODY SHOP

Earlier this month I got the opportunity to go to The Body Shop Blogger Event in Aberdeen’s store to learn a little more about their Christmas range with a group of other bloggers from Aberdeen. This was my first blogger event so I was excited to finally have the chance to see what one entails, albeit a little nervous too. For moral support, my friends Holly, Jess (who also had never been to an event before) and I all went along together.

AUTUMN TAG

Just like so many of you, my favourite time of the year is Autumn so I thought I would do this tag to let you know why I love this season so much and allow you to get to know me a little better. What signifies the start of autumn for you? For me, the start of Autumn is when you start seeing all the leaves falling from the trees, shops start bringing out cosy knits and coffee shops bring out…

PRINCESS FOR THE DAY | A Day at …

The other week, before my friend Willum jet set off to London and Edinburgh for his new job, the two of us decided it would be nice to spend a day together at Drum Castle. Drum Castle is situated in Drumoak, Aberdeenshire which is about 10 miles out of Aberdeen city. For over 650 years, this castle was occupied by the Irvine family after it was granted to them by King Robert the Bruce.
