  • Little Mix Style Stealin’ with Style Seeker at Union Square | AD

When clothes shopping, do you get irritated when you browse endless amount of shops and still can’t find what you are looking for? Or see a photo of someone wearing something that you love but they won’t say where it is from? We’ve all been there. Well, Style Seeker might just be what you are looking for.

    What is Style Seeker?

Style Seeker is incorporated into Union Square’s handy PLUS app. This incredibly easy to use function is ideal for helping you find the perfect outfit.

Little Mix are well know for their iconic looks, and with the group coming to Aberdeen later this month, I thought I would try to recreate some of their outfits using Style Seeker.

    Outfit #1

At the 2016 Brit Awards, Little Mix dazzled in metallic evening wear. For my take on this look, I headed to Topshop in Outfit to find some metallic pieces of my own.

I instantly fell in love with this metallic gem of a vest top when I saw it on Style Seeker. Cropped in length, it complements the high waisted Jamie jeans, with metallic stripes down the leg, perfectly allowing me to show off a little skin without feeling uncomfortable. I teamed this outfit with a star-studded belt to complete my sparkling, statement look, which I feel ties the whole outfit together. To finish, I opted for these black platform sandals with stud detailing from H&M to give me some height and add an edgy, signature ‘Kirsty’ feel to my popstar outfit.

    Outfit #2

My next shop of choice was Zara where I decided to recreate Little Mix’s tangerine dream look by searching for a range of orange and yellow pieces, which is incredibly on trend at the moment and instantly makes you wish you were sitting on a beach, sipping a cocktail.

While browsing the store, I stumbled across these insane, orange, denim jeans and knew they had to be included in this outfit. I mean, can you get more ‘tangerine dream’ than these? These are completely out of my comfort zone but once I tried them on I felt fierce, confident and ready to take on the world ‘Girl Power’ style. To complete this vibrant look, I picked out this striped orange, black and white halter-neck top, with the help of Style Seeker, to bring some of my staple colours into the look, while also helping to highlight the fun, playful element of this outfit.

I picked up both of these gorgeous outfits from Union Square in Aberdeen and it couldn’t have been much simpler with the help of Style Seeker on the PLUS app.

To use this function to steal your own Little Mix looks, all you have to do is download the Union Square PLUS app, open Style Seeker from the menu, take a photo of an outfit you like and select which category you want the app to search (Women, Men, Kids or Maternity). Then select the type of clothing you are looking for and let the app work its magic. Style Seeker will provide you with similar items and tell you where to purchase them, as well as the price. Brilliant!

What’s more, I’ve teamed up with Union Square to give one of you the chance to win 2 Little Mix tickets for their Aberdeen gig on July 28th at the AECC. All you have to do is head over to Union Square’s FB for your chance to win.

I’d love to know what your favourite Little Mix look is (leave a comment below) and I challenge you to use the PLUS app to recreate their iconic designer looks within Union Square’s retailers.
