Here is a look into my June Birchbox, ‘Paradise Found’. This box is summer themed which is perfect as I can take the products with me on holiday this month.

Let’s start with the box because just look how cute it is. Baby blue with palm trees, adorable and fitting of the theme.

Now what is inside?

  • Jelly Pong Pong Paradise Pigment – Fig Jam (Full size RRP 17.95)

‘This more-subtle than-it-looks pigment pot is the perfect way to inject some colour into your make-up routine. It blends out beautifully to add a pop of colour to lips and cheeks and can be built up for bolder colour. Bonus: it’s ultra-hydrating.’

I don’t tend to like products like this but if I am ever after a subtle pop of colour on my lips on a day when I don’t fancy wearing lipstick, then this could be ideal.

  • Percy & Reed Reassuringly Firm Session Hold Hairspray (RRP £12)

‘This ultra fine, humidity-resistant spray is free of that crunchy feeling – so restyle away if your heart desires’

I was actually going to buy myself a can of hairspray the next time I went shopping so this arrived at the perfect time. That ‘crunchy feeling’ is something I always experience with hairspray so I hope this little bottle lives up to its description.

  • James Reed Overnight Tan Sleep Mask Tan Face

‘Created to do its work while you snooze, the fast-drying formula goes on colourless (so there’s no risk of staining your pillow!) snd develops into a golden glow overnight.

I’m actually really excited to try this product. I find that I never tan my face if I ever do fake tan because I am scared of it going patchy and too dark but since this is designed for the face, it should hopefully be fool proof.

  • Benefit Cosmetics Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer

‘Between battling sunlight and pollution, plus your make-up routine, your eyes go through a lot in a day. This formula will show them some TLC – it protects, primes and colour corrects lids, while keeping the delicate eye area nourished’

Benefit is a brand I have always wanted to try but never have due to the price so when I saw this I was thrilled. I am loyal to my Urban Decay Primer Potion but I look forward to seeing if this can live up to it. Maybe I’ll find a new favourite.

  • Whish Coconut Milk CC Body Cream

‘The fast-absorbing formula will hydrate and bronze you from tip-to-toe while treating your skin to nourishment too’

I will be using this product once I am back from my holiday to keep my skin moisturised and to help keep my suntan looking fresh once I’m back in the UK weather.

So that is everything I received in my June Birchbox. Did you like it? I’d say overall, this box doesn’t excite me as much as the last but I do think I will make use of the products.

Thanks for reading,
